This really does not reflect my love of Jazz or Country music, but these are the albums that I have listened to over and over and not just for a year or two but consistently, sometimes for decades.
I thought this list was going to be a lot easier to make than it was. It even spawned two more lists found below. If you decide to do this post on your blog, which you should, be forewarned that it will waste several hours of your time.
You really can't go wrong with any Billy Joel, Fiona Apple, Pink Floyd, Kelly Clarkson, Beatles, or Led Zeppelin album.

Quickly off the top of my head (noting that since I've been married music has become less and less kept up with in my life) I love the You've Got Mail soundtrack, most of Jimmy Eat World and Ben Fold's Five's albums, Foo Fighters and The Get Up Kids and Juliana Theory (can't think of the album titles at the moment).
(I also posted on Facebook, but thought I'd post here too!)
oh man I don't even know where I would begin!!! There are so many great singles, but a whole album is harder to accomplish. One of my totally random favorites is Supertramp's Breakfast in America Album. Anything by the Beatles and Michael Jackson. Soundtracks I love would include The Nightmare Before Christmas, the first Twilight Soundtrack (don't knock it till you try it!), and Footloose. On the other end of the spectrum, I love Lady Gaga's The Fame. And finally, whether or not you want to call them soundtracks they are still great works of music - Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro and Stravinsky's Rite of Spring and Beethoven's 5th (too obvious) and Josquin des Prez's Missa Pange Lingua (if you ever have an hour to yourself to relax/meditate, listen to it!!).....wow you're right, I could spend HOURS thinking about this!
Yay, I love Little Shop of Horrors!
