Day 3 - Whistler Wedding

I woke up Sunday morning and laid in bed reading for an hour and finished The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox which I began on the plane.  It was excellent.  After a late breakfast, Karen and I heading into town to check out Whistler Village.

After a little shopping we split an authentic Canadian dish called poutine.  It is french fries and cheese curds covered in brown gravy.  Yum!  Lacey, you would have loved it.
All the trash cans had levers to open them and signs like this on them.
Fortunately, I never saw a bear, but my cousins saw one in the road ahead of them when they were driving.

I helped Helene with the final touches right before she walked down the aisle.

Here's the wedding party making their grand entrance

The food at the reception was incredible and the dancing was fun.  It was an incredibly unique and memorable wedding extravaganza.  Thanks for the invite Helene and Robert and thanks to Karen for going with me.

mmmmmm....poutine! I love fries and gravy too, minus the cheese curds. I guess there are a few things I miss about my homeland after all.
