Pre-Birthday Weekend

Apparently Brandon told my friend Rena when he was working on her teeth last Monday that this Monday (today) is my birthday.  She collaborated with my friend Leah, who called me on Wednesday to tell me they were throwing me a last minute birthday party on Friday.  It was a girl's night in at Leah's where we gave ourselves pedicures and ate too many desserts.  Carrie came too and Cherolyn stopped by as well.  I have such awesome friends here!

Saturday morning I woke up with some kind of stomach bug.  I was pretty miserable the whole day but that didn't stop me from going camping.  We haven't once gone camping with our kids this summer and I wasn't going to let the summer slip away without a family campout.  So we packed up our tent and sleeping bags and drove up American Fork canyon to a really gorgeous campground with Alan, Linda, their airstream trailer, and their dog Cody.
